New Designers
VICTOR HARPER Formerly with Amsale/Cristos/Kenneth Pool, and more recently the designer behind Platinum for Priscilla of Boston fame, Kenneth Pool was the talk of the town at market in New York recently with his new “Victor Harper” collection of strong, satin, beaded bridal gowns. The collection, named after his grandfather, has two price point options and range between $2,600-$6,000. LWD was selected as the only authorized retailer in Colorado, and we are thrilled to have this more formal, structured option for Colorado brides. The Victor Harper collection arrives at LWD this August!

What Brides Want
January, February, and March were the busiest ever at Little White Dress Bridal Shop. It’s fascinating, exciting, and rewarding to be part of such a special time in the lives of so many different women. Each and every bride has such an interesting story to share. Direct from the forefront of the bridal business, here’s my take on what today’s bride wants:
- Brides want to be heard. Listening, really listening, to the stories and needs of your customer goes a long way.
- Brides want to make buying decisions they feel good about, with the support of close family and friends.
- Brides want photographs and visuals, and they want mobile access to your website and social media from their cell phones and iPads.
- The photo below is of new Jenny Packham bridal gowns – did you know that photos receive 10 times the comments on Facebook than text posts?
- Brides want regular communication via text or email, but sometimes a phone call really is still best.
- Brides want their individuality and creativity to be acknowledged and to be noticeable.
